CRANE: Meeting Northern Ireland: 16 – 17 April 2018

The purpose of this project meeting was to provide an update on the project objectives, budget and review of the tasks to be completed as well as test the modules for the training programme in Malta in May 2018.

The training in Malta will be delisted to 2 multifunctional farmers from each the partner regions to test and improve the pilot training.

The training will last 5 days and will provide a general overview of multifunctional farming as well as modules on the specific areas of expertise form each of the partners:

General overview of multifunctional farms, & results of questionnaires (Malta)
Agritourism (Italy)
Social farming (N Ireland)
Direct selling (Spain)
Educational farms (Italy)

Each of the training modules will include case studies.

The two day meeting included a visit to two social farms facilitated by Rural Support.
