The Celebrating Culture Diversity Programme is delivered through Ards and North Down Borough Council supported through the EU PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB)
The programme offers free workshops and site visits to cultural centres and places of workshop to explore culture, identity and diversity. Participants will discover how culture influences everything we do and look at different cultural perspectives.
Participants will take part in:
1. Facilitated workshops on diverse cultures and faiths
2. Visits to cultural centres and places of worship
3. Visits to Chester Beatty Museum and Irish Jewish Museum, Dublin
The workshops, facilitation, visits, meals and transport are provided free to participants.

To date the programme has delivered a launch event and at the end of the programme will produce a booklet on the programme for distribution to local schools, community groups and places of worship as well as host a community exhibition on the final work and story of the programme.

Visit to the Chester Beatty Museum, Dublin and guided tour of the Sacred Traditions exhibition of artefacts from the Christianity, Islam and Buddhism
