Spain 20 & 21 May 2019
The third SoEngage project meeting took place in Granada, Spain hosted by the Spanish partner DEFOIN.
DEFOIN was established in 2009 and provide a comprehensive range of training and consultancy services. Training solutions are tailored to the management and delivery of continuing and occupational training for businesses and employed and unemployed. The team of highly qualified trainers offer over 100 professional course in 12 regions of Spain leading which lead to awards certification.

The meeting was facilitated by Heather McLaughlin, Coordinator, The Rural Centre, Northern Ireland and attended by representative from each of the 6 partner regions, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Spain and the UK.
Social Farm Case Studies
At the last meeting in Krakow, Poland the partners presented their National Reports on the situation of Social Farming in their region.
The focus of this meeting was for partners to present the Social Farm case studies from their region which could be used as examples of best practice.
Johannes, His und Leben GmbH Germany responsible for the process of selecting the final case studies to be included in the training materials.
Each partner presented 5 – 10 case studies. From these case studies a section of 3 – 5 was made for each region.
The Case Studies included a range of social farms including family owned farms as well as farms owned by organisations and associations.
Aoibeann, Rural Support, showed a short video of social farm case studies in Northern Ireland.
The Case Studies provided services such as kindergarten, animal therapy, environmental eduction to a wide range of users such as people with leaning needs, refugees & asylum seekers, ex prisoner and people with Alzheimer’s.
The next meeting will be hosts by Rodica, Pana, Romania in October 2019.
